If you are viewing this you must have some interest in sailing.

Historically Crystal lake had an active group of sunfish and other dinghy sailors. You may have noticed Me and my son Gavin out last year sailing our lasers on the lake. While small and with somewhat twitchy winds, Crystal can be a fun lake to sail and a safe place to learn to sail. That said, I am trying to promote a sailing club of some sort at the lake. Please email at the contact link below if you have an interest in learning to sail or having your kids (10 and up is best) learn to sail.

Do you own a sailboat that you would like to donate to the lake? Do you want to make a cash contribution to help purchase a boat (or fleet) to sail at the lake?

Crystal Lake Education Foundation

We started the Crystal Lake Education Foundation a few years back with an eye towards providing environmental education programs using our facility. The Board of the foundation is considering a sailing training program as an initial effort in this regard. The Environmental Education Fund is a non-profit with the intent to register as a 5013c as our programs develop.
